To expand our services, Lord Krishna is providing all of us an opportunity to develop a much bigger Vedic Cultural and Educational Center (VCEC).

• NEW, SPACIOUS TEMPLE WITH STATE-OF-THE-ART FACILITIES

 A new center on a seven acre property, opposite to our current temple in Hillsborough, will facilitate

1. State-of-the-art facilities for all our current services to grow and increase our services.
2. systematic propagation of Vedic culture and knowledge to society at large
3. will educate children & adults in techniques of spiritual life,
4. inspiring them to live a simpler, more natural way of life.

• Two floors with state of the art, centrally controlled, integrated multimedia systems. 

• Children Vedic Education

Education for children in Vedic sciences: Sanskrit, Bhagavad Gita workshops, slokas, bhajans, music classes (harmonium & mridanga), dance classes and yoga. 

           

• Adults Vedic Education

Education for adults in Vedic sciences: the center will provide facilities for in-depth Vedic literature studies (Bhakti Shastri), Deity worship, seminars, retreats, Sanskrit classes, Mantra Meditation & yoga classes, vegetarian cooking classes and retreats for spiritual enlightenment.

The Goal of Vedic Culture is to Bring the Individual to the Platform of Krsna Consciousness. Vedic Education is an Integral Part of This Scheme. Education must be individualized as each person has his own nature, abilities and problems of conditioning.

Education means to lead the people gradually to Krsna consciousness.

For the present you should continue going to school because education is important. Without education nobody has any social position and all our students in Krishna Consciousness are expected to be preachers. So preachers must have sufficient education because they have to meet with so many opposing elements. Education should be continued at the same time chanting should be continued. There will be no difficulty.

• Cultural Library

1. Srila Prabhupada's most significant contribution are his books.
2. Within the final twelve years of his life Bhaktivedanta Swami translated over sixty volumes of classic Vedic scriptures (such as Bhagavad Gita and Srimad Bhagavatam) into the English language.
3. For their authority, depth and clarity, his books have won praise from professors at colleges and universities like Harvard, Oxford, Cornell, Columbia, Syracuse, Oberlin and Edinburgh.
